The differences between those two modes are as follows: 1) The difficulty level of all enemies in Hardcore mode has been scaled up, and they are therefore more challenging to slay than the ones from Normal mode; 2) Once defeated, all enemies from Hardcore mode will drop better loot than their counterparts in Normal mode; 3) All levels related to the story mode (i.e. all Single-Player levels and most Co-op levels) are locked in Hardcore mode. You will have to unlock them once more by completing the main quests.
Please make sure your device is not rooted, and that your game version and operating system are up to date. If your device is rooted, please restore the original firmware. If your game still crashes upon launch or after playing for some time, here are a few possible solutions. Free up more operating memory for the game (go to Applications > Running > Stop) and have as much free space as possible. If the game still crashes, try restarting your device. You can also perform a soft reset by removing the battery from your device, then reinserting it after one minute (this can sometimes resolve issues, such as crashed apps, without clearing data from your device). If all else fails, delete the game from your device and re-download it. Note that all game files will be removed and will be unrecoverable.
You can craft items by accessing the crafting menu. From there, you can select an item from the different item categories and then tap the craft button.

Rings are special types of gear. They are unique in that they: - can only be purchased, never looted from monsters or chests; - cannot be upgraded; - cannot have charms added to or removed from them. Rings are powerful items sold in the Shop that boost the rate at which a character earns XP and Gold. Most will also have some secondary effects, such as elemental damage or defense bonuses. Rings make for a wise purchase early on, especially for players that want to progress more quickly and do less grinding for gold and experience.
Gear and charms are sold through the inventory menu, not the Shop menu. Select an unequipped item in your inventory and tap the green Sell button below. A confirmation window will appear showing you how much gold you will receive from the sale, and offer you the chance to confirm or cancel. You cannot sell gear that is currently equipped.
When someone sends you a friend request, a pop-up menu will open with two options: Accept and Decline. Simply choose Accept and that person will be added to your contact list.
Slaying enemies in-game and completing certain objectives and missions grant you XP that level you up.
You can see all of your character stats by selecting the left button in the detail window of your inventory. This menu is scrollable and you can see all stats that are currently affecting your character. You won’t see stats that you don’t have; for instance, you won’t see a poison damage bonus if you don’t have any poison damage bonus on your character.
Yes, you can. Access the Transmute menu by tapping the Transmute button in the Craft menu. You can turn: 3 Black Irons into 1 Dragolith; 3 Dragoliths into 1 Ancient Crystal; 3 Ancient Crystals into 1 Voidstone; or 3 Voidstones into 1 Spiritstone.
You can get crafting materials from looting, playing the Wheel of Fate, Blood Matches or Events, and as gifts from friends. When you loot crafting materials, their quality depends on the enemy's level and your character's level.
Please make sure your operating system and game version are up to date. If your game still crashes upon launch or after playing for some time, here are a few possible solutions. First, try a simple soft restart: Hold down the lock button located at the top of your device for a few seconds, then slide to power your device off when prompted. If this does not help, try a hard restart: Hold down the lock button and the home button for a few seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the prompt to power off and just keep holding those two buttons. This method involves a substantially longer restart than the soft restart mentioned earlier. If neither the soft nor hard restarts work, try deleting the game from your device and re-downloading it. Note that all game files will be removed and will be unrecoverable.
Charms are powerful trinkets that add special effects to your gear, like elemental damage or health. To use Charms, they must be placed in sockets in your weapons and armor. To merge Charms, select a stack of Charms in the Charm tab of your inventory and tap the green merge button.
